I have been following along reading the reports coming out of Austrailia as Justin Jones and James Castrission attempt to be the first group to paddle from Austrailia to New Zealand by kayak.
Things were going well but they hit a snag recently and were forced to dump their dump their bilage pump overboard after it stopped working. Their electronic desalination pump also broke causing long delays in paddling since it takes 2 hours to manually pump a days worth of fresh water.
The two pieces of broken equipment have put the team in a bit of the slumps they say. They have been out on the water and not seen sight of land for over 18 days.
