Michelle Williams was recently in Hawaii trying out some stand up paddling and kayaking with a friend and her daughter.



The gossip blogs were all gushing over her white polka-dot bikini. Who cares about that, instead everybody really should be gushing over that upper hand position, the grace and poise on the SUP board, the shaft angle of that kayak paddle about to go into the water. Common people, time to get your priorities sorted out!

Tom Cruise stopped by Charles River Canoe and Kayak near Kendall Square on Monday (Sept 14th) to do some kayaking and get a private lesson. It's said that the good Hollywood actor even helped put the boats away afterwards.

Now that he has taken some instruction, would suggest that he flies over to Italy pronto and teach how to Sharon Stone. We found out last week that her forward stroke stunk.

If you are the type of person who dreams of winning over Hollywood vixen actress, Milla Jovovich; I believe I have figured out the quickest route to make it happen and it all involves sea kayaks.

The Resident Evil star recently gave an interview where she said, “I get a thrill out of doing dangerous stunts. In [the movie] 'A Perfect Getaway' I have to steer a kayak close to sharp rocks, miles off the coast of Puerto Rico. It's dangerous - there's a very high tide and if my boat tips over I'll go face-first on to the rocks.”

The dreams of 13 years old girls everywhere came true at the Saddlebrook Resort in West Chapel, Florida where they took part in a photo-op teambuilding exercise where they had to build their own boats and paddle it across the pool.

Justin Timberlake, chilling aboard a pal's yacht anchored in Marina del Rey bay, watched idly as two preteen boys paddling in a kayak suddenly stood up, began a mock sword fight using their paddles - and instantly capsized their craft, spilling into the drink!

So my wife Cheryl just got home from walking our eldest, Emily to Sr. Kindergarten for the afternoon. On the way to school they walked past a bunch of movie trailers for a film shoot. We see them all the time in our neighborhood as we live right downtown Toronto. Usually it is a crew for a commercial or made to TV production so we don't spend much time figuring out what is going on.

Everything changed today... Emily was running ahead past some of the trailers when the door opened and almost took her head off. Out stepped none other then Mrs. Huxtable herself. Others like to call her Phylicia Rashad. She apologized to Emily for almost killing her.

Cheryl was excited about her celebrity sighting so she told all the Mom's at school but the real action was on the way home, walking by the set again, who did she walk by? P Diddy/Puffy/Sean Combs. He looked in her direction. He was busy talking to some old fat lady.

After a short bit of research, they are in town to make a film version of the Broadway hit, Raisin in the Sun.

That completely tops our celebrity encounter of going out for Halloween with my kids and Trick or Treating with Master T of Much Music Fame. Well not so much with him but rather walking behind, for about 1/2 of a block... :)
