The Invisible Jet

I have a fairly loose rule that I don't talk about my kids online. Not sure why. Just don't. Well, I'm going to break it.

My wife is great with the kids and can think really fast on her feet which always leaves me amazed.

Today my oldest daughter who is seven came home bragging that she is now part of a new club at school. The Invisibility Club. Yeah, I don't know what's with it but she the ringleader. She also quickly announced that our youngest daughter who is 5 couldn't be a member under any circumstances.

You can tell where this is going. Tears and lots of yelling.

As I said, Cheryl is quick on her feet. She stepped in and said that she didn't understand why the five year old was crying as she was already part of the club. Here is how the conversation went down:

"Not she isn't. It's my club and she can't join!"

"But she is already part of the club"

"No she isn't! She wasn't at the first meeting and the rules say, if you weren't there, you can't join."

"Yes, she was there. You didn't see her because she was invisible."

Argument settled.

I guess the first order of business for the next meeting is to get themselves an invisible jet to fly around in.

I can't wait to see it.
