Sunk Boats Frozen in Ice and Time

Abandoned Ship

I love the blog English Russia. Their tag line is, "Just because something cool happens daily on 1/6 of the earths surface". Rarely does it ever have anything to do with canoes or kayaks but who cares when they post photos like the ones above. I love big rusty stuff and there is a lot of that in different parts of Russia.

The link has a great collection of photos of abandoned ships half sunk in the ice that were taken somewhere near Kamchatka, Russia.

There is something about abandoned boats that completely scare me. I fully expect something scary to jump out and eat me even these are only photos. Don't tell anybody but I also have a hard time watching the cool boat search scene from the movie, "The Usual Suspects".
